Dr. Goldkind served at the Food and Drug Administration for five years, including as an Acting Director of the Division of Anti-inflammatory, Analgesic, and Ophthalmic Drug Products in the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research. Since 2003, Dr. Goldkind has harnessed that experience to provide expert consultations for established and start-up pharmaceutical companies as well as for the financial community. In addition to consulting, Dr. Goldkind enjoys his clinical practice as a gastroenterologist at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, and his teaching as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences School of Medicine.

Dr. Goldkind is a board-certified gastroenterologist and board-certified internist. He completed a research and clinical nutrition fellowship at Harvard University, and a fellowship in gastroenterology at Boston University Hospital and Boston City Hospital.
